Is there an outdoor reception area where guests can mingle before the wedding reception? 

We have different options available for drinks reception. An outside patio and the front lobby of the hotel are also available.

What time does your venue usually serve dinner at the wedding reception? 

We are really flexible. We cater for whatever the couple want. It is usually around 5:30/6pm but it is no problem to serve earlier or later. 

Does your venue cater for special dietary requirements? (coeliac, diabetes etc) 

Yes, we do. We would also always have a vegetarian option available. 

Is there an area where wedding gifts can be stored? 

We don't take responsibility of wedding gifts but there are safes in all rooms where they can be stored. 

Does your venue charge a corkage fee? 

Yes, there is if providing own wine/champagne. 

How many people can your venue hold? 

We can accommodate up to 400 people. 

What makes the Clarion Hotel Sligo special as a wedding venue? 

The Clarion Hotel Sligo offers a variety of flexible wedding packages to suit all tastes and budgets and with a choice of wedding venues within our hotel. 

We are Located in Sligo town at the foot of Benbulben Mountain. This landmark building dates back to 1848 and was designed by William Dean Butler.  

The building itself boasts a striking granite exterior which has been sensitively restored and remodelled as a beautiful contemporary 4-star hotel. We have our unique 'Canis Major' Church which is ideal for Civil ceremony's.
