Food Mood

Food Mood
After all the time spent preparing for the big day, it’s a joy to be able to enjoy the fruits of your labour and eat the food you have chosen to serve! We’ve come up with some ways to add some of your favourite nibbles into your wedding day and share your personal taste with your family and friends.
Snack Pack
When your guests arrive to the reception venue, it can be a much appreciated gesture to have a few savoury nibbles at the bar while they grab a few pre-meal drinks.
Use this as an opportunity to get crafty and do a bit of recycling by using old six pack beer holders or cardboard coffee cup holders and fill them up with your favourite crisps or peanuts to keep your guests from getting peckish before the meal.
Sip Time

Did someone say cocktail hour? Add some fun to your drinks menu and work with your venue to create a signature cocktail to mark the occasion.

Choose elements of both of your faves and try to create something your guests will love! If you happen have different tastes, create two and have the best of both worlds.

A Taste of Home

If you’re tying the knot in your other half’s hometown or flying abroad to get hitched, you may miss your local cuisine or childhood favourite. Why not work with your venue or caterers to create a mini version of your favourite for the canapé tray.

This will ensure you have something you really enjoy to nibble on while you’re socialising and treat your guests so something a little unconventional.

Light Bites

After an evening of some delicious food and drinks, everybody will be fuelled up for the dance floor. When it’s time for the afters, try serving a refreshing cone of mixed berries for some fruity filled dance moves for the late night ravers.

If the kids are still up, you can be sure they have had one too many Fanta’s throughout the day and are winding down from the sugar buzz. Arrange for some small glasses of milk and cookies to be handed to the little ones before they head to bed after a day of fun and excitement.

Special Diets
Although you may not have a special dietary requirement yourself, it’s possible that some of your wedding attendees will. Include a special diets section on your invites so you can notify your venue to create necessary alternative for people who may be gluten free, dairy free or have certain allergies.
